What data we do not collect

We do not collect, store, process, or transmit:

• The contents of any file you open, paste, convert, or download
• The data you type or edit in any tool (text fields, code editors, filter inputs)
• Column names, row counts, file names, or file metadata
• Anything derived from your data (schemas, types, SQL output)

There are no API endpoints on this site that accept file uploads or data payloads. All tool functionality is implemented as client-side JavaScript that runs after the page loads.

What data we may collect

Like most websites, we may collect limited, non-personal information to understand how the site is used and to keep it running:

• Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and does not collect personal data. It counts page views and aggregates performance data (Web Vitals) so we can see which tools people actually use and keep them fast. It cannot track you across sites and does not require your consent.
• Advertising: If you accept cookies, we may display ads via Google AdSense. AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve relevant ads. Ad scripts are only loaded after your consent.
• Hosting logs: Our hosting provider (Vercel) may log standard HTTP request data such as IP addresses, request URLs, timestamps, and user-agent strings. These logs are used for infrastructure monitoring and security and are retained according to Vercel's own privacy policy.

Cookies

MakeMyStats uses the following types of cookies:

• Essential: A localStorage key to remember your cookie consent choice and your theme preference (light/dark mode). These are strictly necessary for the site to function as you configured it.
• Non-essential: Analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you click "Accept" on the cookie consent banner. You can decline these, and every tool will still work normally.

Third-party services

If you consent to cookies, the following third-party services may be loaded:

• Vercel Analytics — cookieless web analytics (no personal data, no cookies)
• Google AdSense — ad serving (subject to Google's Privacy Policy)

No third-party service has access to the data you process in our tools. The JavaScript for these services is sandboxed from the tool logic and only handles page-level analytics or ad display.

Data retention

Since we do not collect your data, there is nothing to retain or delete. Your files exist only in your browser's memory while you use a tool. When you close or refresh the page, the data is gone. We do not store it, cache it, or back it up.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or store personal data through our tools, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions about hosting logs or analytics data, contact us and we'll assist you.

Children's privacy

MakeMyStats is a general-purpose utility site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. The core commitment — your data never leaves your browser — is baked into the architecture and will not change.
